one thing to watch out for if you’re using blood & bone as a possum deterrent is that the rats love it … so it may be the rats and not the possums that are eating your fruit!

Hi, I want to cut my front lawn (actually mostly weeds, oxalis etc) and mulch to make a no dig mixed garden (veg and perennials). What soil mix and mulch should I use? The area is about 5m x 5m, can you give an approx cost?

I think that medium traffic would damage your chamomile and the rye grass would just take over.

That should work well, figs are tough and like the heat. While they are young, they may benefit from some temporary shade if we get another series of scorching days – just an opened umbrella or something to give them some relief.
