BAAG wins National Award... again!

We are very proud to announce that for the second year in a row we have won the NGIA (Nursery & Garden Industry Australia) National Environment Award. The Australia-wide award recognises nurseries and garden centres that demonstrate outstanding environmental initiative. Needless to say we are fairly stoked about it!

2007 Yates National Nursery and Garden Industry Award Winners

Bulleen Art & Garden is very proud to be first recipients of the Yates Nursery and Garden Industry National Awards for both Community and the Environment.

Flora For Fauna

Bulleen Art & Garden has enthusiastically adopted and extended the Flora for Fauna program as something which complemented our other environmental policies and practices. We are very proud to have been judged the National winner of the Flora for Fauna display award for 2003.

Bolin Bolin Billabong

The Bolin Bolin area of the Yarra is an area of inspirational natural beauty and ecological complexity encompassing wetlands and wooded areas next to the Yarra River. It is a tranquil and secluded contrast to surrounding suburbia. Weed control and revegetation are an integral part of the Bolin Bolin project. Significant inroads have already been made into controlling weed species in the area by Parks Victoria, Bulleen Art & Garden, Melbourne Water and the City of Manningham, but an ongoing program is needed. >>more
