Fruit trees require pruning to maintain the health and vigour of the tree, as well as to encourage fruit production. Regular pruning opens up the canopy allowing greater air circulation and more light into the canopy. An added bonus is making the fruit easier to pick each year by restricting the size of the tree. BAAG Wins National Community Award In addition to the State award we won earlier this year, we are very proud to announce that Bulleen Art & Garden has won the Nursery & Garden Industry Association of Australia's 2009 National Community Award. This award recognises the involvement we have with our local community, something that is one of our highest priorities! We like to think we are much more than a nursery to our regular customers, and we'd like to thank all of you guys as well as our dedicated staff for helping make these awards possible. |

We have put together three different packages that will make even the most inexperienced gardener enjoy the experience of growing their own fresh produce. We'll come to your place and help you set up your very own vegie or herb patch. You will be rewarded with mouth-watering, healthy, organic vegetables and fruit, which you can proudly say you have grown yourself. Even if you are a produce expert, why not buy a package for someone you love? It really is the gift that keeps giving. Beats jocks and socks hands down! Click here for more info. |
