What you will get
Once we receive your booking you will be emailed a pdf which outlines a few things you can do you get the most out of your time. We suggest you read this before the consultant calls you. A consultant will be in touch with you within 7 days of your booking to arrange a time and date for the consultancy that suits you both. It is very important that you understand the time frame of the actual visit will depend on a lot of things… including the season and the consultant’s availability. Remember they are all independent contractors, they are not on BAAG’s payroll. If you simply must have an urgent visit within a few days this service is probably not for you.
On the day, your consultant will spend 90 minutes in your garden with you. As a guide, this will allow you to cover one topic in detail or a few topics more briefly. Our fabulous consultants can answer most general gardening, horticultural and basic design questions and offer sustainable solutions to most of the problems areas we encounter in the garden.
At the end of the consultancy you get two discount vouchers to use at BAAG. These give you 15% off plants and 7.5% off most other products and can be used on two separate visits.

It is very important you understand this is not a Garden Design service. Think of it as an opportunity to discuss potential design ideas in your garden with an expert. You will NOT end up with a garden design. You WILL end up with some great ideas and advice, and if you wish to take the next step to a full design you can discuss this with your consultant after the visit. If you and the consultant find you need more than the allocated time, you can arrange to pay the consultant directly for any extra time required.
