Produced from processed locally collected kerbside greenwaste. Improves moisture retention, encourage worm and microbial activity, suppress weeds, reduce sharp changes in soil temperature and prevent soils from repelling water. As the mulch breaks down it will further add organic material back to the soil. IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the recycled nature of this product, it may contain occasional rubbish and other inorganic material. Recycled Mulch should be spread to a minimum depth of 75 mm and should be topped up annually. Suitability

Lucerne
Grown primarily for animal feed, lucerne is high in nitrogen and is less likely to contain seeds than pea straw, but as a crop, does require higher levels of water to grow. Lucerne improves soil structure and increases nutrient levels as it breaks down. Lucerne helps stimulate root growth and decreases the chance of root disease in the soil. Lucerne should be spread to a minimum depth of 75 mm and should be topped up every six months.

Pea Straw
Pea straw is a crop high in nitrogen grown mostly for animal feed. When used as mulch it breaks down within a year and improves soil structure and nutrient levels. The straw can contain pea seeds that are easily removed or dug over when they first shoot. Pea Straw should be spread to a minimum depth of 75 mm and should be topped up every six months.

Sugar Cane Mulch should be spread to a minimum depth of 75 mm and should be topped up every six months.
