Sustainable Gardening & Living Classes

 

At Bulleen Art & Garden we aim to make gardening more enjoyable for you. We have been running our Sustainable Living and Gardening Classes since 2007. These include preserving style hands-on workshops to help you make the most of your seasonal produce. Our goal is that you take our years of practical knowledge to help you have success in your own gardens. Our classes are usually suitable for beginners, though some do cater for the more experienced gardener. All classes and workshops are run by professionals with teaching experience.

Please note that ALL classes at the moment are held online using the Zoom app.

Before you book a Zoom class: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT OUR BOOKING CONDITIONS ALSO APPLY TO ZOOM ONLINE CLASSES. We limit the number of spots to keep the classes manageable. If you book a class, you have taken a spot… if you simply don’t log in you are not entitled to be transferred to a later class. Your booking has stopped someone else from booking. No refunds or transfers will be issued for non-attendance. If you wish to transfer the normal 7 days notice is required.

Please read the following information carefully before booking. All bookings are considered final once payment has been made. However, if you cannot make it to your class or workshop you are welcome to sell or gift your ticket to a friend or relative who can attend in your place.

By booking into this class you agree to the following:

TRANSFERS: 7 days notice is required for a transfer to a different class or workshop (space permitting). If you have given us at least 7 days notice you can transfer to a different class or workshop at no charge. Extra fees will be applicable if the class or workshop cost is different.

REFUNDS: If you have given us at least 7 days notice we can cancel your place and refund your fee. All refunds will incur a $10 administration fee. No refunds will be given for non-attendance under any circumstances.

No refunds or transfers are available if the class date is within 7 days. No exceptions. This applies to both in-person and online classes.

If there are insufficient numbers for a class or workshop to run, it may be cancelled or postponed. In this case, you will be notified & given the option of either a full refund or a transfer to a different class or workshop. Extra fees will be applicable if the class or workshop cost is different.

Parking

Parking is provided onsite. For classes held during normal trading hours, all participants MUST park their cars in the staff car park which is located at the end of the bulk garden supplies yard PAST the bulk bays and sleepers. For classes held outside of normal trading hours, please park in front of the nursery.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled class time. Our classes are often held outside business hours so latecomers may not be able to enter for security reasons.
