Certified Organic Cow Manure
Cow manure is an excellent addition to all gardens and soil mixes. Cow manure works as a soil conditioner, opening up the soil and adding humus. It supplies major fertiliser elements and will not affect your pH like Mushroom Compost. The feedlot from where our cow manure is sourced is involved in the export of livestock and cannot, by law, use hormonal growth promotants. Therefore, the manure is free of artificial and chemical contaminants. Strict management procedures are adhered to regarding husbandry and feed quality control. |

Sand |
 |
Brick Sand (available in White & Yellow)
Sometimes referred to as fatty sand. Mainly used for mortaring brick or stone work and for laying under pool linings. Standard mix for mortar is 6:1 (6 parts sand to 1 part cement). For one cubic metre of sand you will need 8 x 20kg bags of cement. This will lay approximately 1200 bricks. Shades of colour may vary between batches. |
 |
Concrete / Paving Sand
Mainly used as a concrete sand in a standard 4:2:1 mix (4 parts 14mm screenings, 2 parts sand, 1 part cement).
Concrete / Paving Sand is the main sand used when laying pavers, and is also the ideal sand for a water tank base. |
 |
Fine White Sand
Ideal for use in childrens' sand pits. Also recommended as a jointing sand for paving. It can be mixed with brick sand 50:50 to make a general render. (3 parts brick sand, 3 parts FW sand, 1 part cement) |
Stone |
 |
B Grade Crushed Rock
Crushed rock consists of 20mm minus stone particles capable of solid compaction. Ideal for driveways and paths. Must be used for a foundation when laying paving and for some retaining wall systems. Crushed rock is an ideal under sand or pavers for a water tank base. |
 |
Granitic Sand
We have sourced a new supply of granitic sand. It is slightly courser than our old supply, and will not go soft with water or muddy in winter. Granitic Sand is a great alternative to paving (or water-hungry turf), and is a very similar product to Dromana Toppings... but at a fraction of the price and readily available. Ideal for drives and pathways. Should be compacted to a depth of 75mm. |
 |
Lilydale Toppings
Generally used as a surface for driveways and paths. After spreading, it is advised to either roll or compact the area to achieve a firm, even surface. Lilydale Toppings pack rock hard but still remain permeable to water. |
 |
Tuscan Toppings
Generally used as a surface for driveways and paths. After spreading, it is advised to either roll or compact the area to achieve a firm, even surface. Tuscan Toppings pack rock hard but still remain permeable to water. |
